This past weekend I hosted a baby shower for my niece. I was so inspired by the Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday Scrapbook Line that it kind of became the theme for the whole party! Here are some of the C U T E decorations that I came up with after hours of blog hopping.
It started out with the simplest idea - use scrapbook paper for the decor - first step was to cover the clothespins used to hang up all the tiny baby clothes.
Here's where it became addicting... paper baby shoes.
...the shoes quickly led me to pinwheels that are pretty simple to make, not to mention fun. If you'd like the template just leave a comment with your email address and I'll send it to you.
The theme was cupcakes so of course, paper cupcakes!
This is a shot of how I used the pinwheels to decorate, plus I couldn't resist getting the watermelon baby buggy in here!
And finally, a banner made entirely of scrapbook goodies to remind us all why we were there! Now, of course I wouldn't be anywhere without my diamond stickles. What I learned was that paper things are cute but if you add glitter - they are adorable! The best part of all of this is that these party decorations serve two purposes - they now decorate the baby's room!

...and scrapbooking supplies!
If you can believe it we are still getting in new products every month! We've been adding them as fast as our fingers can type. Just last week we received the new Under the Sea collection from Reminisce - have you checked these out yet? We've got them up on the homepage right now and wow, this collection is versatile. There is something for any project, beach, vacation, Sea World, local water world or just swimming in the backyard.
...and, just in from Melissa Frances....
I can't even contain my excitement that these have arrived! I ordered these at CHA and have been patiently waiting for them to arrive...today was my lucky day! The box was full of awesome tinsel spools, bingo card books, welcome banner kits, mini house kits and the coolest shaped albums! Don't worry we are working hard to post them up on the website so you can see them too!
Now, one more thing. A great project that I finished last week. I just love the Graphic 45 kids collection and hadn't found just the right thing to do with it yet. So I added it with one of my projects in waiting and came up with a great idea...
just a few supplies and...

Make some cards! Just go do it, right now! Grab some scraps or some stickers and throw something together - you will feel so good. I've been on a bit of a creative slump. There hasn't been a lot of time for scrappin' around my house lately. Once summer starts, the schedule gets all crazy! I made myself sit down with some great new Basic Grey Lime Ricky papers and make these cards this week. I am so glad I did - it's nice to have a little stash of cards to grab on my way to a party!

I don't mean to toot my own horn (ok, maybe a little) but I've been busy! We have gotten in so much new product lately! I am busy, busy, busy trying to add it all to the website for you. I finally got this new collection from Graphic 45 called Transatlatique up. How cool are these papers? I love how they have that vintage look but still are bright and will stand out on a page.
Also, you know the saying 'out with the old, in with the new' right? Well I am ALL about that right now! I have to make some room so I've been slashing prices left and right. Check out our Closeouts Page for the newest low prices!

This scrapbook line is just absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Creative Imaginations calls it South Seas and it is definitely island inspired - however - I can't think of a picture not to scrapbook on it! The designs are just great and so versatile, did I say I love this paper?!! I just got the entire line in and they are all up on the website, check them out here.
Just in case you missed it - our Classic and Universal 3 Ring Scrapbooks are here. Thanks to everyone for being so patient while we found a new manufacturer and got them in. Also, note that the My Mind's Eye is on sale right now! I just can't get enough of this Penny Lane line. I scrap a girl and a boy and there are papers and die cuts that are perfect for everything!

Ohhh - I'm so excited to show you what we've been working on around the office...
T-Shirts!! They come in several colors and sizes and have this great CREATE design on the front. The back has our website listed. I've already been wearing mine all over! It is becoming my favorite gym shirt. Do you like them? Let me know and leave a comment - you could win one!
Also, we are starting a new monthly magazine give-away. I will randomly select 5 orders every month and throw in the current issue of Memory Makers. I am a magazine junkie and love the idea of a surprise magazine included with my order, hope you guys love that idea too!
And last but certainly not least, I did complete a mini Easter album with the beautiful Creative Imaginations papers that we carry. I added lots of glitter and ribbon, even a die cut butterfly!

The new product just keeps rolling in! I'm struggling to keep ahead of it - but working hard to get it posted for everyone to see. Yesterday we got a great new Cotton Tail Easter line in from Creative Imaginations. Since Easter is a little time sensitive I bumped it to the head of the line and got it on the website - check it out here. I'm working on a mini scrapbook to show off all the pretty papers and embellishments. I predict it will be done sometime this weekend so keep an eye out. Also, get your comments ready because the next post will be complete with a give away (more details later). Here's some of the new lines that will be going on the website soon:
Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday
Cosmo Cricket Snorkel
Lots of Creative Imaginations
Mini Bobbin Ribbons
...and there is still more on the way!!!

We've been getting a few sneak peeks of nice weather around here. One day it is beautiful and the next rainy and cold! I just added these great Die Cuts With A View 'green' scrapbook papers to the website here. They make me long for more sunny days. Spending some time outside with the kids, snapping some photos and then here is the perfect paper to capture the spirit of the day.

I just added some of the MOST adorable paper to the website! Lots of Sassafras Lass, check it out...
We got in two new collections from them, Anthem and Bungle Jungle. I love this style so much and am planning lots of projects with these! My fave thing about these papers is that each one has a die cut strip added to the bottom - it gives the papers so much character! Check out the New Products section of the website to see them all!

I was so excited that this came in already and made sure to get it all on the website today so that everyone can enjoy it together! I've got some super scrappy scrapbook project ideas inspired by this paper and the Graphic 45 booth from CHA. I'll be sure to post the pics of what I come up with (I'm thinking a give-away is due also).
My favorite papers? Hmmmm... Dollie's Teaparty, Jack and Jill and Hopscotch!
Now go scrapbook, scrapbook, scrapbook and report back!

On Saturday's scrap night I busied myself making an army of little pyramid treat boxes. They are very small, will only hold a piece or two of candy. That's ok though because they are going to a class of pre-schoolers! I don't have a pre-schooler but donated them to my niece, Nichole for her daughters class. Do you like them? Leave a comment and I'll send you the template (Courtesy of Scrapbooks Etc. magazine).

Wow - what a whirl wind the last 4 days have been. I have taken so many pictures of new, cute scrapbook supplies and ideas! I had to sort through booths and booths and catalogs and catalogs of great, new products to pick the best for us! I made lots of orders and when I get back to 'normal' I will start posting the pics of what will be arriving. For now, here are some teasers :)
